I noticed that negative keywords deleted in Google are not removed during the Sync in Microsoft Ads. I have the option to delete items that have been removed from Google.

    Hi Hawkmanva

    Thanks for responding back.

Basing on the resource that I shared. Negative keywords from both Microsoft Advertising and Google ads will be merged. If a negative keyword(s) was already added to your Microsoft Advertising account, I would recommend to just make an update directly on your Microsoft Advertising account and delete negative keywords from there.

I have that box checked. If I add a negative keyword to an adgroup in Google and then sync it will show up in Microsoft Ads. If I delete that keyword in Google and resync, it will not delete it in Microsoft Ads. The checkbox is checked.

    Hi Hawkmanva

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Advertising Community Forum! My name is John, and I will be assisting you with this query.

Please note that an update in Google Ads is treated as deleting the previous target and adding a new target. If you select Targeting under Updates to existing items, and if the targets were updated or removed in Google Ads, then those targets will be deleted from Microsoft Advertising during the import.

I would recommend checking your import settings, you should have the option "Delete items that have been removed from your Google Ads account"
