Hello, it seems only Microsoft replies to these questions and they only seem to be technical by the book discussions and nothing that could be considered strategic? I'm hoping that is not true...
I have talked to a couple Bing customer service people and although nice, I think it would be helpful if they learned a little bit more about how best to use their product, differentiate their product from their competition and help their customers save
money and be profitable.
One question I have is this... I have read consistently that Bing Ads amost of the time is 30% to 50% cheaper than Bing yet after transferring my keywords to Bing, my go to broad keyword which gets a 10/10 on both sites is roughly 3 times as much per click
to get in the same ad position as google adwords. This does not make sense to me since Google Adwords has more people bidding on keywords. It is true there could be some crazy group who thinks Bing is so much better and therefore pays 300% more but that is
highly unlikely.
Does Google Adwords put more weight on a 10/10 than Bing? Meaning Google gives a huge discount on 10/10 where as Bing gives much less? That is the only conclusion I can come to.
Bing's customer service right now can only say they are different from Google Adwords. I feel like I could say I am number one every time with Google Adwords at $1.00 a click and I am paying $10,000 a click on Bing Ads and they would give me the same line
without giving any idea out on what I could do to make sense of it all. If anyone has a good reason why I would be paying so much more on Bing it would be appreciated! I would like to keep using Bing but if they just keep implying I could pay 300% more to
get in the same position as Google a(around 1st or 2nd position it just won't be worth it) Thanks.
