I don't know anyone else who has a TV with Miracast capability. However, as I said previously, the problem occurs with the TV I have at home, and a projector (using a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter) at a physically distant location (I mention this in
case it may be supposed to be a local interference causing the problem).
From what I have observed, the problem does not occur immediately, but it seems to develop after a short while and then remain. The flickering is not continually, but seems to occur perhaps every 10-30 seconds or so. This may be a clue, or it could be just
a 'red herring'.
As I have said, all the latest Windows 10 updates are installed on my Surface (and including in the MWA).
I believe that the Miracast needs to connect at 2.4GHZ, and that this band is prone to interference, but I have no idea whether it automatically switches to the 5GHZ band once the connection is made, or how to force it to do so.
My MS Surface Pro 3 when connecting to my home wifi uses the 5GHZ band.
Thanks
