Hi

There are various sensors near the front camera of the Surface Go.

  1. an infrared light,
  2. an infrared camera,
  3. The front camera
  4. a white LED
  5. the front microphone
  6. and then something else, which I can not find out what it is , can someone help me there?

I'm building a cover for the Surface Go, and I want to know if I can conceal the part to the right of the front microphone without restricting functions.

Thanks for any help you could give me

greetings

For sure? does the Surface Go have two IR cameras? If I cover the ?????? I can still log in, on the other hand, if I cover one of the two left sensors (IR Cam or Light) Windows Hello does not work.

    Hi Wlill ,

Regarding your concern, that is the Windows Hello IR face-detection sensor.

    Hi Wlill ,

You can check the technical specifications for the various sensors of Surface Go here - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4344921/surface-go-features or https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/devices/surface-go/tech-specs

Please don't conceal the upper gray part. Please see the sample photo.
