THE WHITE SPOTS HAVE NOT GONE. IVE RESTARTED , UNDID THE UPDATES AND REINSTALLED THE UPDATES.

WHAT AMAZES ME IS THAT MICROSOFT HAS NOT YET RESPONDED HERE.!

DOES THIS MEAN THAT MICROSOFT IS NOT BOTHERED OF SUCH PROBLEMS FOR SUCH A HIGH END PREMIUM MACHINE??

THE CURSOR AND MOUSE ARE BEHAVING OUT OF CONTROL AS SOON AS THESE DOTS APPEAR AND I FEAR ILL LOSE VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Shouting in all CAPS is not necessary. Can you please tell us if you see these

spots when you boot to the UEFI with the steps in my previous reply?

If you see this issue on the UEFI screen, you will need an exchange.

    can assist with this.

So you see these when you boot to the UEFI?

The UEFI settings can be adjusted only during system startup. To load the UEFI

    firmware settings menu:

    1. Shut down your Surface.
    2. Press and hold the volume-up button on your Surface and at the same

time, press and release the power button.

    1. When you see the Surface logo, release the volume-up button.

The UEFI menu will display within a few seconds.

Hey there, my name is Michael and I am an independent Surface advisor, and a customer, like you! It appears that those white dots are the "touch dots" that are visual indicators of where your finger touches the display.

Have you already tried forcing your Surface to restart, and if so, does the problem still persist?

    Thanks,

    Michael
