Welcome to the Microsoft Community forums.
The power button on the Surface Pro is located at the right hand side. However, this could vary from Surface device to Surface Device.
On my Surface pro 6 it is on the right hand side when I have my tablet in portrait mode. If I was to hold it landscape and put the side stand out so it uses it to lean on, it will be at the top.
