How long does it take to process an order?

I made a substantial investment from Microsoft's website Monday night.

I included the fee for 2 day shipping 2 days ago and the order still says pending. 

I am not sure why? You should provide more visibility to what is happening behind the scenes other than than "Pending"

Could someone let me know?

Also, Per below category options.

Don't be so rigid, My question does not fit your options and I did not have an opportunity to simply same "OTHER"

    they mention on https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/400064... that orders placed after 1pm Eastern get processed the next day

    •Business days are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding holidays.

    •Delivery times may vary for custom products.

    •Our carriers do not deliver on the weekend or holidays.

    •Orders placed on a weekend or holiday, or after 1:00 PM Eastern Time will be processed on the next business day.

    The reason there is no topic for orders is that we try to help with product/technical issues and we don't have any way of checking customer orders. No one in this forum can actually check an order.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/28808/... has info on contacting them (USA).

    Typically a 2 day order (from my personal experience) takes them a few days to process and then they ship 2nd day. I've never seen it be two days from placing the order to receipt of order from the Microsoft Store. I find this to be true of lots of other companies (Amazon is the notable exception).

    If it is an expensive order, follow it closely as it does not come signature required and you don't want someone taking it from your front porch when you are at work/not home. As a customer (I don't work for Microsoft) I watch any orders carefully online. I've also seen them NOT update the order status on a timely basis.
