The reason there is no topic for orders is that we try to help with product/technical issues and we don't have any way of checking customer orders. No one in this forum can actually check an order.

Typically a 2 day order (from my personal experience) takes them a few days to process and then they ship 2nd day. I've never seen it be two days from placing the order to receipt of order from the Microsoft Store. I find this to be true of lots of other companies (Amazon is the notable exception).
If it is an expensive order, follow it closely as it does not come signature required and you don't want someone taking it from your front porch when you are at work/not home. As a customer (I don't work for Microsoft) I watch any orders carefully online. I've also seen them NOT update the order status on a timely basis.
