I use my SurfacePro to stream Xfinity regularly. Just go to https://tv.xfinity.com/. Sign in and click on the TV Icon.
Xfinity streaming app
Availability of iOS apps vs. pc apps dictates which devices to use. The Xfinity streaming app is important to our family as Comcast is our service provider. This app is available at the Apple App Store but not at the Microsoft Store. We have Surface Pros and iPads. Guess which devices seems more relevant and useful?

2018-04-06T02:46:55+00:00 Barb, thanks for your reply. This app is available at the Apple app store, but only for iOS devices.
I really like my Surface Pro and would like to use apps on my Surface Pro more often. But unless, and until, it gets easier to do this on my Surface Pro, I am forced to continue using my iOS devices.

It's up to Comcast to provide an app for Windows, not Microsoft.

There are no relevant entertainment apps on this very expensive Surface Pro. I find Microsoft's " get an iPhone or use it on Android" insulting.
