Blue Ruggedized Surface Seen on NFL Sidelines

I've seen the Surface on the sidelines of NFL games and in Microsoft's advertisements of the Surface P3 (click here then scroll down to the "Trusted by the Pros, built for the fans" section and you'll see Doug Baldwin holding one).. I'd love to know where I can get my hands on that blue ruggedized case.

Anybody have any suggestions??

Thanks in advance!!

    Dear Microsoft,

I love your Surface Product. Why don't you take advantage of your NFL partnership and push out NFL team covers? I would buy one in a heartbeat. I think others would too. You should also create an option for companies to place their logo on case by sending you an image file. I think these items would be quite popular. I'll take one once you develop ;-)

There is a blog about the Surface Pro 2 case used by the NFL and looks the same and the company may have also made one for the Pro 3.

    Engadget is the maker.

Additional note: After looking at Engadget's site, you may end up getting daisy chained to other sites to look for that case.  I would say to probably look closer in the above web link and probably contact them to see who actually really makes it.

As the Engadget article explains, Microsoft designed this case for the Surface Pro 2. There was no information on who manufactured the cases in volume for Microsoft, since Microsoft probably doesn't do that kind of work, and no information on whether the case will ever be made available commercially. At some point the NFL will stop using these machines, and it's possible they may be sold--probably more as souvenirs than for practical use, but anyway, that may be the only way to get one.

Microsoft actually shelled out a couple million dollars in putting that together as a TV advertisement.  Indigo.com had displayed that in a video and those cases where custom made just for that advertisement.  The object was to sell the tablet.

In order to get those actually on the market, you need to get your company to contact Microsoft's corporate headquarters to display an interest and get other companies to do the same.  A manufacturer will not tool up to manufacture unless they have an order big enough to do it.

Those cases you saw where custom made by Microsoft themselves along with the "all weather" docking station case.  Those where probably the most expensive cases ever built for a tablet.

Get your company to contact Microsoft and get other companies to do the same.  There have been other people wanting those also and they would be a great hit.
