How can I tell which Surface Pro I have?

I bought my Surface Pro in July 2017 and recently lost the adaptor. I've bought a new one, but it's more bulky than the old one - 102W.

So I bought another adaptor for travel, which is 36W. It fitted, but didn't power the Surface Pro.

The thing is, I don't know whether I have a Surface Pro 3, 4, 5 or 6. When you look in system information it just says 'Surface Pro' under system model. I can't find any info anywhere on what power adaptor it should run off - there are loads of adaptors available 36W, 40W, 44W, 65W and 102W. Am I using too powerful an adaptor? Was the 36W one not powerful enough? Clearly everyone who owns a Surface Pro knows exactly what model they have and what adaptor they need, and only the laughably thick people like me feel they have to ask.

Please help

Tom
