The Mini Display Port no longer works on my Surface Pro 4 so I'm having to connect it to an external monitor using the USB port. I'm trying to find a USB to HDMI Adapter that's recommended to work with the Surface Pro 4 running Windows 10. Any recommendations gratefully received! Thank you.

I ordered a USB 3.0 to VGA HDMI Adapter Converter Dual Output 1080P for Windows 7/8/10 from WUMINGLU via Amazon and having been told to download the latest .exe file, I am pleased to say that I can now connect to a monitor successfully using the USB port on my Surface Pro 4 running Windows 10!
Thanks again, Dominic.Kind regards

Hi Barb
As an FYI, I ordered a USB 3.0 to VGA HDMI Adapter Converter Dual Output 1080P for Windows 7/8/10 from WUMINGLU via Amazon and having been told to download the latest .exe file, I am pleased to say that I can now connect to a monitor successfully using the USB port on my Surface Pro 4 running Windows 10...
Never say never!
Kind regards
Julian
Any USB to HDMI device which uses DisplayLink drivers should work.
A Surface Dock is an expensive way to get two additional miniDP ports but also adds USB and wired ethernet ports.
Thanks, Barb. That's a real blow!
