Wireless card in Surface Pro 2?

Does anyone know what wireless card will be in the Surface Pro 2?  Is Microsoft still going to be using the Marvell Avastar 350N or will they move to a more reliable wireless card?

The power cover is supposed to double the battery life which will be an improvement.  Microsoft Store online is displaying the accessories.  The keyboards are backward compatible and the wireless adapter for the keyboards is supposed to work with all of them.

Check out the online store, they have them on display.  However, some of those accessories, you have to wait until early 2014 to get them.

    Both tablets look very good.

The keyboards are backlit for both the touch and type covers plus the 3rd cover which is also a battery pack will also have a backlit keyboard.  Those keyboards are backward compatible with the 1st generation models.

That is all very good to hear (although I'd read the power cover would NOT be backlit, unlike the others...hmmm).  I'm quite interested in the S Pro 2, but if I could get the battery power cover, it alone would probably provide about 50% of the improvement I'm after for much less cost.  Then just keep using the S Pro until it dies (more than likely within the extended warranty period) and see if perhaps by that point they offer an 'upgrade' exchange with some cost to me, vs. having refurb original S Pro's to send back...

One weird thought - wonder if the bluetooth keyboard adaptor works with the Power Cover.  I mean, you'd expect it to work in terms of providing wireless keyboard functionality, but clearly BT isn't going to 'beam' the battery power, so makes it kind of a goofy thing to do aside from simple ergonomics of the moment. :)

Most likely that both RT 2 and Pro 2 will have the same WiFi adapter and about what I can find, the components are the same as the 1st generation (Marvell).

Nobody, anywhere will list the components except the processor.

The docking station looks like it works with both and both tablets have the connection port on the right side and the video port on the left side.

The keyboards are backlit for both the touch and type covers plus the 3rd cover which is also a battery pack will also have a backlit keyboard.  Those keyboards are backward compatible with the 1st generation models.

They also have a wireless adapter for the keyboards so that they can operate detached from the tablet.

Some of these accessories, though, won't be available until early 2014.

I have a RT that 3 weeks ago started working 100% after I swapped out the touch cover for a type cover.  A little strange, but not going to complain.  I think I will just keep it.  May get the Pro 2, but don't really need it for anything.

I watched a video of a Microsoft engineer showing off the guts of a Surface 2 (not Pro 2). He made a point of saying that the wireless chip was the same as before. However, they are running the interface at twice the speed as before. It's likely they have done the same for the Pro 2 - just a guess.

    Bye.

So far, unknown.  I am curious about that myself.  In fact, if I find out, I will post here on this thread.
