How can I connect Surface Pro 3 to external HDMi monitor? I purchased a Microsoft Surface HD Digital AV Adapter but the connector does not fit the Mini Port of Surface 3. Are there any third party Mini Port to HDMI adapters that can be used with Surface Pro 3? Ive Pre Ordered the SP3 docking station but cannot wait to til docking stations ship in mid August to hook up external monitor. Help please!!!

of course the adapter you got doesn't work - it is a micro-hdmi to hdmi adapter, only suitable for the surface rt and surface 2. you didn't pay attention when you bought the item :)
the pro models use a mini display port connector. just get any mini display port adapter.
