Microsoft Surface Pro 2017 as a drawing tablet for PC???

Was curious if it was possible in a way to use the Surface Pro as a drawing tablet for Photoshop on a PC.

    It looks as though you could use Miracast.

    I'm not 100% sure the pen will work, but the settings dialog mentions 'mouse' ...
