disable the eraser side of pen from moving the cursor?

Some people would probably be asking me why would you want to disable the eraser on the pen? I'm not talking about the button, I'm talking about it affecting the cursor. I'll be in Sketchbook drawing when I need to zoom in and out (which I use the same hand that my pen is in.) and because the eraser end gets close enough to the screen when using the pinch gesture to zoom in/out, it will actually erase in the area that my finger drags across. Also when it does ignore the eraser and decides to zoom in/out, it does it in a glitchy/laggy way where I have to wait a couple seconds for it to stop freaking out. So I ask, "Is there a way to make it so the eraser side is completely turned off so its sensor doesn't affect the cursor. I miss the old surface pro 3 pen with the two buttons .(where one of those buttons was the eraser button).

    thanks for your response

the pen has a clip, single button on the side, I use autodesk sketchbook. I want to know if there is a way to make the eraser end remapped to the button on the side and just have my right click function mapped to the tip when held? I don't use inkscape or evernote.

    Hello,

We appreciate your time in bringing up this issue to our attention. It's none of our intention for this to happen and definitely this is not the experience we want for you.

We need to ask some questionin order we can isolate the issue.

    • May we know what is the version of your Surface Pen?
    • Is your Surface Pen have clip or no clip?
    • Is your Surface Pen have single button on flat edge?
    • What are the apps you usually used when you used the pen?

Please follow this steps: Start menu>Settings>Devices>Pen and Windows Ink>Turn on “Ignore touch input when I’m using my pen.”

    Keep me posted the outcome.

    Thank you,

    Cleofe_P
