The battery is not replaceable. Microsoft does not replace batteries, they
replace the entire device with a refurb if the battery dies. Out of warranty the
current cost for replacing the Surface Laptop is $450 US.

Previously I did look for similar questions in the forum but seemed that those can't help me. My question is, can I replace the battery on the surface laptop without changing a new laptop? Not referring to warranty. What if I want to change it after the warranty or it is faulty after warranty, can I just change the battery? Is that possible? As I heard that surface laptop can't be repaired.

Dear Nicholas
No, the battery in the Surface laptop is not replaceable. Battery service after warranty is up - assuming this is not a case of battery swelling - will require a fee for replacing the device.
Dear Nicholas,
I'm sorry if my answer wasn't clear enough- if a problem with the battery arises, the entire device has to be replaced. I do not have the price in Malaysian ringgit for this service request.
Is there an issue with your Surface laptop battery?
I apologise as i don’t understand what do you mean by “battery service after warranty is up”, and in short, how much it cost approximately in MYR to get the device fix once its battery is faulty?
