How do I print screen in a SurfacePro 3?

There's a print screen button but it doesn't work. There's some strange combination of keys I read about in several past answers that seems to involve three hands, a volume button, and another mystery key but those don't work.  I know it's been years since Microsoft has created this problem, and yet still there's not even anything in the FAQ for "print screen" except for a couple of answers that don't work, either. Any ideas about how to print screen from a Surface Pro 3? (also there was no appropriate topic for this so I had to choose performance... sigh)

Press and hold the Fn + Windows + Space key and then release all three. This should work. What happens when you do this? do you see the screen "blink"? The screenshot should be saved in your Pictures library.
