Hello

I am trying to deploy a WSUS server so I can update 4 other servers that do not have internet access. I was going through the process when I saw the products selection and I had a question regarding what should be selected there.

I see "Windows Server 2019 and later, Servicing Drivers," "Windows Server 2019 and later, Upgrade & Servicing Drivers," "Windows Server version 1903 and later"

My concern was why so many what is the purpose of having all of these different categories? Which one should I be selecting?

Windows Server 2019 and Later Servicing Drivers" product category does contain updates that might be applicable to your servers, but they are all device drivers, so they will not affect the build number.

In my opinion, there is no need to tick the other options if you don't want to deploy the Drivers updates through WSUS. In addition, I synced the Products - Windows Server 2019 and later, servicing Drivers and Windows Server 2019 and later, Upgrade & Servicing Drivers in my lab environment. Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

"Windows Server 2019 and later, Servicing Drivers," and "Windows Server 2019 and later, Upgrade & Servicing Drivers," are drivers.

"Windows Server 2019 and later, Servicing Drivers" is similar to "Windows 10 veraion 1903 and later, Servicing Drivers",
these are drivers that will be offered to all builds of Windows 10 all the time, excluding upgrade scenarios (i.e., via Orchestrator, DSM, or Device Manager).

"Windows Server 2019 and later, Upgrade & Servicing Drivers" is similar to "Windows 10 veraion 1903 and later, Upgrade & Servicing Drivers",
these are drivers that are offered in all Win10 scenarios (i.e., via Orchestrator, DSM, Device Manager, or during DU).

To dispatch server, we just need to use "Windows Server 2012", "Windows Server 2012 R2", "Windows Server 2016", "Windows Server 2019" and select required classification.

To dispatch windows 10, we just need to use "Windows 10", "Windows 10, version 1903 and later" and select required classification.
