Surface Pro 3 - stylus battery life?

How long is life stylus battery? Is it possible to see somewhere indication of stylus battery life?

    Hello roystreet,

    If you look through this guide, you'll see that there are instructions for replacing the two different batteries. The battery types are listed as well. The battery in the body of the pen is AAAA. The other batteries are 319 coin cell batteries.

    Hello GeeJohnson,

    The battery life will diminish with use. However, this guide has troubleshooting steps for possible issues with the pen. You should try those. Do try another battery as well. Let us know if this helps.

One last thing: you did not indicate whether you meant the battery life for the AAAA battery or the coin battery in the top half of the pen.

    According to HTC Stylus users (this stylus is also made by Ntrig and it's compatible with Surface Pro 3) the battery should last around 8 months.

    I was wondering the same thing as my stylus often becomes unpaired or not fully available for use. It can become quite annoying. I guess I need to find another battery before deciding next steps with this pen.
