I just restored my computer, but now it is telling me in need to download Citrix online launcher, run_DREGOL.  when I go to the sight for Citrix. It Says to down load Citrix receiver? I'm ignorant as whether they are the same things?  then when I do pull up the Citrix sight to download it confuses me.

,  I don't know what green down load button to choose. I don't  want any unwanted down loads on my new computer. Then I don't know what the run_DREGOL is all about.

    carol.noble,

Thanks for stopping by the Microsoft community. Sorry for the troubles with your device.

Rest assured, we'll do our best and help.

Allow me to ask you the following questions

1 - You said you've just restored your "computer" I am just curious, are you referring to the Surface or an actual desktop or laptop?

    2 - You said you've "restored":

a.) By that do you mean you went into system restore and tried to restore to a previous date?

Please give us as much details as to what you've done exactly and we will follow up accordingly.

We look forward to your reply and help.

    Hello again carol.noble,

Thanks for the update. I reviewed the content of your last reply and at this point we believe the best course of action would be a complete "reset" of your Surface.

Please keep in mind that resetting your Surface brings it back to factory default.

A reset also reinstalls Windows and apps that came installed on your Surface.

All of your personal files will be deleted and your settings will be reset. All apps that you installed will be removed. For info on backing up your files, see Back up photos, documents, and more.

After the reset, you'll be able to set up Surface as if it were brand new.

Make sure that you have access to the product keys and installation files for any desktop apps (for example, Microsoft Office) that you plan to reinstall after the reset. This includes desktop apps you installed from websites, discs, or USB drives.

Once the update is complete, you can update to Windows 8.1 .

Please give this option a try and definitely keep us posted.

I am referring to my surface pro 3 Christmas present.  Yes I restored it just as suggested. I still can't get on to the Internet. There were 90 updates? I did not re down load either  Adobe flash, Citrix online launcher, or the run_DREGOL I am still not able to get onto the Internet. I went to the lower right hand corner went to settings and this is what I see.  Add. VPN. Connector.  Provider. Connection name. Server name. Server name sign in  user name information. My computer doesn't show a screen unless I plug it in now,

I didn't go to a websight yet and download anything. Basically I only started to down load freaked out and deleted what I though I downloaded.

You better read this. Seems some hijacking software

    http://www.dregol.org/

Website shows how to uninstall from control panel and internet explore. Probably reroutes you  to a false Citrix download site.
