Wacom Pens and Surface Pro 2

So I am making the dive and buying a surface pro 2.  I already have an artist's tablet (intuos 4) and have various pens for it.  I was wonder if these pens would work on surface pro 2, because I noticed the pen provided is very similar to my wacom's.  Note:  I have not yet bought the item thus could not just try my pens on it.

Thanks

rrday unfortunately the intuos 4/5 pens don't work with the surface pro 2, the digitizer inside the SP2 is older than the intuos lineup. There are however happy alternatives. Wacom of course capitalizes on this with the Wacom Bamboo Feel / Carbon here http://www.amazon.com/Wacom-Samsung-Microsoft-Surface-technology/dp/B00BVUQZZ2/ref=pd_sim_sbs_cps_1

I have the Carbon which is a little heavier and bigger, I almost find it too big but the weight is pretty awesome. I also picked up an old ArtZII esque pen (not the best link but this is what they look like) http://www.amazon.com/Penabled-Tablet-Pc-Eraser-Pen/dp/B000085BDB/ref=pd_sim_pc_9

You can use any wacom penabled / artz era stylus.

I've been very happy with my drawing experience on the SP2, you'll love it.

p.s. I should mention that the Bamboo Feel and ArtZ style pens have their cursor position a bit different from the default pen. The default pen has the cursor tip basically under the tip of the pen. The wacom pens have their position slightly forward, similar to what you'll find on a Cintiq, which I've found I prefer for drawing.

Thanks for your reply!  I was testing it at bestbuy once and noticed its position was a little awkward : / I think I most definitely will buy that pen then.  Having it forward will make it feel more natural. :)
