The surface laptop 3 launch looked amazing and very promising for enterprise use. But its unclear what all parts are actually serviceable/up-gradable? I believe for enterprise use at-least these components should be up-gradable/serviceable: RAM, ssd/hdd, battery, keyboard and display.

After about 2.5 years of using my Surface Book the keyboard did not work, suddenly. And there is no way to replace the keyboard. Disappointing.

people have bought keyboard bases on eBay and have not had issues getting them
working with their SB's, so it would seem that Microsoft COULD offer these
separately but made a business decision not to.

    Hi there,

I agree with Barb. The SSD was the only component mentioned by Microsoft to be replacable. While the world is discussing issues like waste, environment, sustainability, ... Microsoft seems to absolutely not care. Still selling products you will need to throw away if a single component does not work anymore.
