Disney magic kingdom game stuck in boot loop

Hello,

I recently had the Disney magic kingdom game crash so I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it.  Now, it will not fully load the game.  It gets stuck in an endless loop of checking the internet connectivity.  I am connected to the internet so that is not the issue.  Gameloft says it is an issue with Microsoft.  I will say this has happened before and I found an article that had me delete a file or two and then it was able to load fully but I cannot find that article anymore.  I have tried re-setting the app, uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, I have tried to look for any files that resemble anything to do with the game and deleting them all to no change.

    Hello Eedunn,

Thank you for reaching out Surface Community. It is possible this is due to compatibility issue. As per checking Disney Magic Kingdoms, the Minimum and Recommended System Requirements are OS(Windows 8 Mobile, Windows 8.1). This might be the reason why it is not working properly. If Gameloft says this should work but your Surface does not have enough storage, it causes your game to crash. Please make sure you have enough storage. You can do Disk Cleanup, Select the drive you want to clean up e.g. Drive C., Tap Ok, Select all unnecessary files to delete and click Ok. Also try to set the battery slider for Best Performance. Try to test if that works. If issue persist, I highly recommend that you contact again the developer to verify the compatibility since it clearly states that the Recommended OS is Win 8.1 not Win 10.

    Please keep us posted.

    Regards,

    KarenJune_F

Thanks for the advise but I have plenty of storage left.  I didn't have a problem until I uninstalled the game, then re-installed it.  It was after the re-install that I cannot open the game.  As I mentioned before about 6 months ago the same thing happened and I found an article mentioning that there were some old game save data files stored somewhere and I would need to delete these files.  I just cannot locate the forum that I found this information in.  What folders would old game data be stored in so that I can delete them?
