SCCM Maintenance Window

need to make sure that the next wednesday after patch tuesday the patches are installed on the servers.

how can i make sure that the patches are installed and the servers are restarted only on Wednesday and after one week of the Patch Tuesday.

Hope i am making sense:)

    Assuming you want to configure your MWs for the Wednesday of the week following patch Tuesday (thus the second Wednesday after Patch Tuesday), there is no way to directly this with a recurring pattern in ConfigMgr as MWs are configured relative to the beginning of the month. There is a UserVoice item for this so upvote that if this is critical for your environment.

    You can use a script though to configure individual maintenance windows for each month using your criteria. A quick web search (https://www.bing.com/search?q=maintenance+window+patch+tuesday+script&cvid=3484027f4ada4d1ba8758fafb8d866fe&pglt=43&FORM=ANNAB1&PC=W000) will get you lots of hits for this.

    Hi @Karun Khanna ,

    How do you deploy the software updates?

    You can set simply the deployment settings to install the patches on Wednesday then make the restart, or, if you want set a custom time to install and restart the servers, you can configure the maintenance window, for more details:
