Dear Microsoft Hardware Product Team,

Please bring back the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse.

Please bring back the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse. As a woman with small hands (~6in from palm to fingertips) the Sculpt Ergonomic mouse filled an important niche for all those people who needed an ergonomic mouse designed for small hands.

I have used the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse for at least 12 years, buying a new one when I finally wore out the hardware after 8 hours of continuous use everyday for years. Each mouse lasted for about 4 years - which I thought a good value for something in constant use.

I thought the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse was beautifully made, wonderful to interact with and comfortable to use. I had no issues with my wrist and enjoyed using it every day.

It appears the Scuplt was discontinued in 2023? Please consider bringing this product back, It is much loved, and filled an important niche for those of us who do not have larger hands.

Since my last sculpt wore out in April 2024, I have tried ordering a refurbished version (these are hard to find! And refurbished Sculpt Mice are selling for 50 to 100% more than the original product - which should show you how strong the demand for the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse still is.) But the refurbished product was not in good repair and I had to return it.

I have tried mice from Apple, and Kenningston, and Logitech - all claiming to be good for people with small hands, but I have returned them all.

It is now August, and I am still searching for a suitable mouse product 4 months later.

See Incase Designed By Microsoft – Incase.com & Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse - Incase.com

While Microsoft is exiting this part of the hardware business, it looks like later this year Incase will offer many products that were previously part of the Microsoft hardware line.

I have used the MS sculpt ergonomic mouse for years - having had to buy it again every three or fours year - and I need a new one again, but have looked everywhere. I will mourn the loss of this mouse - please bring it back because it's the best ergonomic mouse by far, especially for women.

I had the same experience. I recently ordered a MS sculpt mouse from Amazon, and the only available one said "used" but they were charging full price anyway. I was desperate so I ordered it. So far it's been okay so it looks like the previous buyer sent it back for some reason. I mourn the loss of the ergonomic keyboard and mouse set, that I have enjoyed for years. But the keyboard cannot work without the accompanying dongle in the mouse - so now I have a dead keyboard as well because it looks like I threw away its accompanying mouse. :(

Writing this reply to discourage other people reading this post from ordering from Amazon or other sellers (ebay etc).

I have ordered 2 Micorsoft Sulpt mice from different Amazon sellers. Both claimed to be new, but both were refurbished, both came in previously opened packaging, with an asian language instead of English.
Each mouse came from a different Amazon seller.

It's no longer possible to buy a new Microsoft Sculpt Mouse.

Sorry it appears this product is now extinct.
