Hello everyone.

I recently bought Epson EB-E01 projector, and I want to connect my tablet using my MS Display Adapter (the 1080p model).

But when I plug in the adapter to power and to the projector, nothing shown up. Only no signal appears. But when I'm connecting my laptop using HDMI cable, at the same port on the projector, everything works fine.

When I connected the adapter to my samsung tv, also it works just fine. Only my projector can't detect the adapter.

Please help me how to rectify this situation. Thank you.

    Hello mzg1708,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

After fully reading everything you've posted here, I've noticed that the Microsoft display adapter you're using doesn't seem to work with your Epson EB-E01 projector.

In subsequent tests, you found that the adapter works with a Samsung TV, meaning that the issue is specific to your Epson EB-E01 projector.

But that doesn't mean the Epson EB-E01 projector you're using is bad, because you can connect it directly to your laptop using an HDMI cable and everything works fine.

So, my conclusion is that the Microsoft display adapter is probably not compatible with the Epson EB-E01 projector you are using. Please allow me to give some compatibility information here:

Use the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter - Microsoft Support

Therefore, you may want to check with Epson's customer support for some information:

    1. Whether the EB-E01 projector supports Miracast.
    2. Whether the EB-E01 projector supports the HDCP protocol.

If any of the above is not met, then the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter may not work on your device.

    Best Regards,
