Surface book 2 pen compatibility

Hi Everyone,

I just bought a brand new surface book 2, waiting for it to arrive with shipping. Meanwhile i was surfing online to buy a used surface pen for it, since my bank account is kinda crying at the moment ahah.

I was wondering: can I use every surface pen on the surface book 2? even the new slim pen of the surface pro x? would that pen stick magnetically to the side of the monitor as the others?

Otherwise, is there a specific model designed for the surface book 2? If so, what's it correct name and model code?

    Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community and posting your inquiry regarding pen compatibility on your upcoming Surface Book 2. You can use either of the Surface Pen or the Surface Slim Pen on the Surface Book 2.

    You're welcome. I am afraid that the Surface Pen is only compatible for Surface devices as listed in the link I shared.

    thanks for the reply. I also have another question. Since I have a wacom intuos tablet, would its pen work on the surface book 2 while i wait for the surface pen?
