    Hi nasrin,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

Yes, both the Surface Laptop Go 2 and the Surface Laptop 2 should be able to run SPSS, provided they meet the system requirements for the software. SPSS is compatible with Windows 11, which both devices support.

    • Surface Laptop Go 2: This is a lightweight, budget-friendly option with Intel Core i5 processors and either 4GB or 8GB of RAM. SPSS will run on this device, but performance could be limited if you're working with large datasets or complex analyses, particularly with the 4GB RAM version. Opt for the 8GB RAM model for smoother operation.
    • Surface Laptop 2: This is a more powerful device with Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and up to 16GB of RAM, making it better suited for handling larger datasets and intensive statistical work in SPSS. It will offer a faster, more reliable experience, especially if you choose the 8GB or 16GB RAM version.

Note: has Surface Laptop 2 been discontinued, out of warranty support and service for such models is no longer available. We appreciate your commitment to Surface and apologize for any inconvenience.

For more complex SPSS work, the Surface Laptop 2 would be the more reliable choice, but the Surface Laptop Go 2 can handle basic tasks well if you choose the higher RAM model.

    Your Sincerely
