Can Surface Slim Pen 2 be used on the new Surface Laptops 7th (2024)?

We want to buy a Surface Laptop 2024, and we need to use oneNote app with Slim pen 2. We would like to make sure that the Surface Laptops 2024 can be used with Surface Slim Pen.

    After reading what you have posted, I have noticed that you have some doubts about using Surface Slim Pen 2 with Surface Laptop 7. I will share the following information with you:

    Based on the device parameters of Surface Laptop 7, it does not support any Surface Pen series. Even though this laptop has an improved touchscreen display, it is not compatible with the Surface Pen series.

    If you need to use the Surface Pen, I recommend considering other compatible Surface devices such as the Surface Pro series or the Surface Laptop Studio series.

    Hi Leo,

    Thank you very much for your clear and helpful explanation to the question that we would like to know.

    Our young high-school student had a Surface Pro 10 last year, she came up with problems of 64bits X86 apps, and she wants to have a Surface Laptop 7 with belief that it provides much bettet ARM emulator, but she also need using Surface Pen for her works.

    How would you give us any advice on suitable Surface computers? Thanks.
