Am unable to attach a Surface Go to a WPA3-PSK (SAE) network, any idea?

Cheers.

Edit: Problem not limited to Go but other older Surface devices as well.

Thanks. What bothers me is that I don't even see Intel updating their older WiFi products to WPA3. Intel has only added WPA3 to their 9200 series adapters and the AX200/201 series. I hope that this is not a hardware limitation or an unwillingness to work on older hardware.

I DID find statements on the WiFi Alliance page from both Marvell and Qualcomm

I'd love to see a comment from the Surface team (an authoritative response).

Following the instructions on the page below, by running the command netsh wlan show drivers, WPA3-Personal is not currently supported on the Go, and presumably most other Surface devices as well.

Hopefully Microsoft/Qualcomm/Marvell can release updated driver to enable WPA3-Personal/PSK/SAE support.

    Cheers.

Just found this... So hope is not lost, yet.

    **Release note:**Add WPA3-Personal

OK, gave up waiting for Microsoft and went ahead to try this... Now the Go can connect to WPA3 networks.

The extracted driver is available here if anyone is interested:

    Cheers.

Can you please file a problem report using the Feedback Hub App, then use Share

and get a link and reply with that link?

I agree that Microsoft should get drivers updated, but am not holding my breath

for this to be done quickly.

Just wondering, have you or anyone personally been able to do so?

    Cheers.
