Hello Bhrugesh
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I understand that you may have a need to access the BIOS, but let me kindly remind you that the BIOS is no longer available in the newer Surface series devices, Because the Surface Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) replaces the standard basic input/output system (BIOS) with new features including faster startup and improved security.
If you want to jump directly into UEFI during the boot phase, here's how:
- Shut down your Surface and wait about 10 seconds to make sure it's off.
- Press and hold the volume-up button on your Surface, and, at the same time, press and release the power button.
- The Microsoft or Surface logo appears on your screen. Continue to hold the volume-up button. Release the button when the UEFI screen appears.
But in fact, when you enter the Windows system, you can also load UEFI firmware Settings menu:
- Select Start> Settings > System > Recovery.
- Next to Advanced startup, select Restart Now.
- Under Choose an option, select Troubleshoot> Advanced Options> UEFI Firmware Settings, and then select Restart.
UEFI has a completely different page from the BIOS, and while it is possible for customers to make some relatively simple Settings, we recommend that you try not to change any Settings in UEFI, as the default Settings are sufficient for daily use.
Unless you are an IT administrator and have the need to enable or disable built-in devices and components, prevent changes to UEFI Settings, and adjust the boot Settings of Surface devices:
