The 2TB Micron SSD was a success and my Surface Pro8 finally performs as it should with a ton of headroom.
What is the max SSD my Surface Pro8 will accept?
I would like to upgrade my Surface Pro8 SSD to a Micron 2TB 2400 M.2 2230 NVMe PCIe 4.0x4 SSD MTFDKBK2T0QFM-1BD1AABYYR. Will my system accept this and work? My system is a 1983 i7 model.

2023-12-18T05:57:45+00:00 Hi, William Hagge
Thank you for getting back with us here and apologies for the delay. We checked here and the capacity is not an issue. If you use M.2 2230.
I hope I have answered all your questions.
Kind regards,
Christopher.

2023-12-13T21:36:36+00:00 Thank you Christopher,
I am aware of the correct SSD type and will be having it professionally installed but wanted to confirm that the max SSD my system will accept is not 1TB. I didn't see any reason why I couldn't go up to 2TB but wanted to inquire and get validation.
So, as long as I am upgrading with a M.2 2230 PCIe SSD the capacity is not an issue?
