I bought a Microsoft All-in-one media keyboard with touchpad, I am unable to change scroll setting, when I scroll down I want the screen to move down, it is by default set as reverse scroll- when I scroll up, screen goes down. Please suggest how do I change scroll directions.

Hi, I have the same issue - the keyboard and touchpad is a 2.4GHz wireless model (N9Z-00006), and the Touchpad option doesn't appear in the settings menu you're referred to above. How do we enable that option to change the scroll direction setting? (Note I have seen this before on laptops with integrated multi-touch trackpads, but not on the Surface).

    Advice welcome, thanks!

    Hi Apoorva Parmar,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. We appreciate for sharing your concern to us.

May I know what device does your Microsoft keyboard is connected?

If your device is in Windows 10, you may follow the steps below.

    1. Open Windows 10 Settings app.
    2. Click Devices option.
    3. Select Touchpad tab.
    4. Select the scroll direction from the Scrolling direction drop down menu. Select the option of your choice, the change is saved and applied automatically. You can test your device and see it makes any changes.

    On Windows 11

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Click Bluetooth and Devices then select Touchpad.
    3. In touchpad settings, select Scroll & Zoom, and a menu section will expand.
    4. Click the drop-down menu labeled Scrolling Direction and choose the option of your choice, either "Drop Motions Scrolls up" or "Down Motion Scrolls Down."

I hope this helps. Keep us posted on this thread.

    Kind regards,

    Lavenia
