Microsoft Pen Model 1776 isn't working for my Surface Pro Model 1796

First off, I bought a pen for my surface pro from TheGoodGuys so I can draw digitally and it worked for 2 weeks then it suddenly stopped working. The end button on the Pen still works but just not the tip of it. I've went back to TheGoodGuys THREE TIMES to get it replaced and still has NOT WORKED. I've gave my surface pro to my brother to check if it's the monitor that was the problem but he says it's perfectly fine.

So I've come to the conclusion that I probably have to get the previous old pen for the surface pro but there isn't any shops here that sell them anymore. Please let me know if anyone here has went through the same issue and/or has found a way to fix this issue.

Thank you!

Pinch and Zoom does not work but I can touch the screen. I've also already tried disabling/enabling the Intel(R) Precise Touch Device but nothing changed.

Once I downloaded it, I used it and tried to reconnect my pen and it didn't connect for some reason. But I opened the Pen and Windows Ink and it was on Right Hand. I'm a left hand so I changed it to left hand and it suddenly started working again. VERY ODD but I'm just gonn assume the troubleshoot app helped.

    Thank you!

    Try the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4037239/surface-fix-common-surface-problems-using-surface-diagnostic-toolkit
which can often fix most software and driver issues.

Does pinch and zoom also fail to work in a web browser using three fingers ?
Others have found that going into device manager and disabling/enabling the
"Intel(R) Precise Touch Device" in device manager made both the pen and the
multi-touch work again. Open device manager,  Click on human interface devices
to expand it and it should be near the bottom of the list. Right click or press
and hold the "Intel(R) Precise Touch Device" to bring up the menu where you can
select disable/enable. Select disable and then go back and select enable.
