Compatibility of Surface Pro (5th gen. 2017) and Microsoft Surface X Keyboard

Hi there,

I just wanted to ask, if is it possible to use Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen. from 2017) with Microsoft Surface X keyboard, because this is the only Surface Type Cover for Surface devices available with the CZ-SK keyboard layout.

What do you think about the dimensions? Would it fit precisely?

    Hi, JanKlaška!

    Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community and posting your inquiry regarding the Type Cover for your Surface Pro (5th Gen). I am afraid to inform you that the Surface Pro X Keyboard is only compatible with the **Surface Pro X.**The existing type-covers for the Surface Pro line (3, 4, 5th Gen, and 6) are not compatible with the Surface Pro X connector.  

    The Surface Pro X Keyboard's blades/connector looks like this image below.

    The Surface Pro keyboard connector will look like the one below.

    Kindly check with the **Microsoft Store**on availability of Type Covers for your Surface Pro (5th Gen). We hope this helps you out.
