    not eligible because it has a 7th generation Intel processor. it is a Surface Pro 2017(5th gen) wifi only model

    They used 1796 for the SP2017 5th gen WiFi only Surface and it is not eligible for Windows 11. They also used 1796 for some Surface Pro 6 devices (they had newer versions of the Intel CPU) and they are eligible.

    What about mine as shown below?

    They used 1796 for the SP2017 5th gen WiFi only Surface and it is not eligible for Windows 11. They also used 1796 for some Surface Pro 6 devices (they had newer versions of the Intel CPU) and they are eligible.

    • Surface Laptop 2
    • Surface Laptop 3
    • Surface Laptop 4
    • Surface Laptop Go
    • Surface Pro 6
    • Surface Pro 7
    • Surface Pro 7+
    • Surface Pro X
    • Surface Pro X SQ2
    • Surface Studio 2

    Surface devices not supported:

    • Surface Book 2 (w/ 7th gen i5-7300U CPU)
    • All other devices.
