Hi Kieran NZL,
Greetings!
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.
The Surface Laptop Go can be connected to an external monitor. The device has a USB-C port which you can use to connect an external monitor. If your monitor has a DisplayPort or an HDMI, you may use a USB-C to DisplayPort or USB-C to HDMI cable to connect the external monitor to the Surface.
see: Connect Surface to a TV, monitor, or projector.
The Surface device can be charge using a USB-C charger. In this case, we recommend using a USB-C charger that provides at least the same wattage as the power supply that was included with your Surface (see Surface power supplies and charging requirements).
| Power supply unit model | Surface model | Main charger | USB power on charger | Total wattage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1963 | Surface Laptop Go | 15 volts @ 2.6 amps=39 watts | No USB port | 39 watts |
