Can I use my iPad as a monitor/second screen with my Windows 11 Surface laptop go?

If so, How? With out spending money!

I'm more than happy to take ideas/suggestions from anyone, not just professionals.

XDisplay wires connection is free and works perfectly. Whoever you are ‘Microsoft Advisor’ if you don’t know, just say nothing? Ifnorance is not a virtue.

These answers border on malpractice and I'm shocked that Rodelio P WHO IS A MICROSOFT AGENT doesn't at least point to third party software as an option. I bought the DUET app for ipad that works with Windows for $15 but unfortunately they've now upped the cost. But it works really well: https://www.duetdisplay.com/

You can try this: Turn your Tablet into a Monitor: Splashtop Wired XDisplay

So far I've tried it once and it works well, it is quite slow compared to your natural monitor in response but it's better than nothing!

What about via Bluetooth, USB/wire/cord/etc. or any other programs?

    Hi Prestonopera!

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Community. We're here to help and let's work on this together.

With your query, unfortunately, it is not possible to use an iPad as a second screen with a Windows 11 Surface Laptop Go, since Windows devices uses Miracast which is not present with an iPad or any iOS devices.

Thanks again for choosing Microsoft. Hope this helps!

    Regards,

    RodelioP.
