OPEN >> TASKMANAGER >> PROCESSES tab >> SELECT WINDOWS EXPLORER >> RIGHT CLICK >> RESTART

What causes this shadow of a box to appear and you can't do anything inside it, such as click on likes or activate something in your system tray , if the box is low enough.

Which Surface do you have and what build of Windows is it running (run WINVER to get the build number)

2021-12-20T10:05:19+00:00 If you restart your Surface, it should clear the issue AND it should show what program it is trying to close. Does restarting clear the issue?
