    Hi Simone,

We are in the same situation as you (Surface 7 Laptops and Dymo LabelWriters).

I work in my organisation's IT department so reached out to Dymo and received this response:

"Thank you for contacting us. Our developers are constantly working on improvement of our software in order to deliver it, with the best quality, to the largest number of our consumers possible. However, in case of Microsoft ARM processors, I apologize that currently none of our software versions are compatible with these processors. Currently LabelWriters are only compatible with computers with Windows Intel processors and macOS ARM processor."

I wish it were better news, but until Dymo come to the party with ARM based drivers for Windows there is no way to use their LabelWriters with newer Surface Devices.

    Kind regards,

    Isaac

    Hello Simone,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Before responding to your question, I recommend that you review some of the information in this support link:

Windows Arm-based PCs FAQ - Microsoft Support****

After reading this information, I believe you will have a clear understanding of the problem. The problem is most likely due to a lack of ARM-compatible drivers that prevent it from working properly on your Surface Laptop 7. Therefore, please contact the vendor or technical support of the burner directly and ask if they can provide drivers for ARM computers.

If so, your Dymo Label writer should work properly after installing the appropriate drivers.

But if not, this means that the software Dymo Label is currently unable to be used in ARM devices due to missing drivers.

    Best Regards,

Mitchell | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
