I cannot download the Libby app on my computer with windows 11. The prompt says install on other devices. I contacted Microsoft support and they had me go into ISO folder and click on setup and reinstall windows 11. They assured me that would fix the problem. It did not. I cannot download any android apps. I also need other apps for work. Thanks

    Hi Bonnieru22,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. I understand that you need to install Android apps like Libby on your Surface Pro 8 that is running on Windows 11 but unable to do so.

May I know what error do you get when you tried installing the Android apps?

Also, from where did you try to install the apps from? Was it through the Amazon Appstore?

Please note that in order for us to install Android apps on Windows 11, we need to install the Windows Subsystems for Android (WSA) which would install once we install the Amazon Appstore from the Microsoft Store or install an Android app from the Microsoft Store for the first time, which will also install the Amazon Appstore. Please see these pages for more details:

Install mobile apps and the Amazon Appstore on Windows - Microsoft Support

Please note that for which Android apps can we install on the device, it depends on the apps available on the Microsoft Store or the Amazon Appstore.

    Kind regards,
    Marrion
