Surface Pro keyboard back lighting?

Anonymous

My surface pro used to light up the keyboard, making it easier to use on dark environments.  I was never able to re-enable this feature on my Pro4 after a windows update, a long while back.  Now I have a pro 7 and that new keyboard, new pc, doesn't light up the keyboard.  Online articles say function F1 F2 - that is for screen lighting and brightness not keyboard.

How can I turn ON keyboard light up?

thank you

    Hi Rita_Robbins,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community.

In turning on the backlight of your keyboard, please make sure first that the Fn key is OFF (not lit up).

Please check then if the F7 key on your keyboard has a half sun icon or Prtscrn. If it is the sun icon, try to press it several times and check if the keyboard backlight lit up.

If the F7 key is for Prtscrn, please use then the F1 and F2 keys to adjust the keyboard backlight.
