Apple MagSafe wireless charger Won't charge phone while plugged into Surface Studio

Need some help, I have been using my Surface Studio 2 to charge my phone with a MagSafe wireless charger for the past year just fine but since yesterday it will charge for a couple seconds then stop working. I have confirmed it's not the magsafe charger itself as it will charge my phone while connected to a difference device. Also, a regular usb-c charger works fine when connected into the surface. We have tried to restart/update the pc/phone multiple times as well.

I also have the exact same issue. It is not the Apple firmware update I can say for sure since I don't use a iPhone, so no way it got updated. (Yeah I am that guy who use MagSafe to charge a pixel). This started happening after my Windows 11 got updated earlier this week.

The charging works fine during the booting face. Once booted, Windows simply cuts of the power. If I re-plug it works for like 5 seconds and then power goes off again. I tried disabling USB selective suspend in power settings and Power management in device manager for the USB devices.

    Hope Microsoft fix this soon.

Note: I'm using a Lenovo laptop and the same seems to be happening.

Therefore I think it might be related to a Windows Update or Apple Update to MagSafe changers.

    Hi,

I wonder if the same USB port you used to try and charge the phone works on a different device? Unplug the magsafe charger then plug in another usb cable like a Iphone charger and see if it charges. If it doesn't, the usb port is faulty.
