Actually... You are wrong... Reread my statement.... Zero os updates...
They have only provided security updates. The two are different.
Explain to me...how is your snarky comment is useful or helpful?
I highly doubt you watch "all" about the Duo and there is quite a lot about the duo that is speculation. I am going on statements made by Microsoft.
Many blogs specifically have called out MS for specifically not providing any updates for the OS.
Defend if you must... But MS has screwed their customers.
An update to an operating system is commonly referred to as new, improved, or fixed software, which replaces older versions of the same software. So there are numerous updates to the operating system -- granted none of which is a update to a new version of the operating system but many fix system bugs as listed in the description of the change log. If you are saying no upgrades to Android 11 for the original Duo, that is absolutely correct. But there have been more than just security updates.
I never said I watched "all" about the Surface Duo. I said I never saw anything to confirm your assertions. So, again, please provide a link to your asserting that an update to Android 11 was advertised to be upgraded "shortly after" release ("statements by Microsoft") so that I can see them to increase my knowledge base. I apparently missed any such advertisement or statements by Microsoft.
My post was not intended to be snarky. I'm sorry you took it that way.
