The Surface Slim Pen 2 (Surface Slim Pen 2 - Microsoft Store) is compatible with the Surface Pro 9. See this page for more details: Surface Slim Pen 2 - Microsoft Store. Please note that the charger of the pen is sold separately. If you do not have the Surface Signature Keyboard (Buy Surface Pro Signature Keyboard - Cover with Backlit Keys | Microsoft Store) which has the charging area for the Surface Slim Pen 2, you may also get the separate Surface Slim Pen Charger (Surface Slim Pen Charger - Microsoft Store).
