Does Surface Laptop 3 have a keyboard backlight ? If so how do i activate ?

On previous versions of the Surface FN 1 & 2 activated the backlight but that isn't working on my new Surface

    Hi Terry Smith57 ,

    Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Community. The backlight key of the Surface Laptop 3 should be the F1 key. You can keep pressing the key without using the FN key. That should enable the keyboard backlight. With each press it moves through 4 levels of brightness, including off.
