Profile stand for Surface Pro

I often use my Surface in profile (not standard landscape) position, and Microsoft completely neglects those of us who do, so I made my own simple stand to use with a TypeCover-style bluetooth keyboard. It is a flat, stiff tin sheet (19.3cm x 13.3cm) with a notch (9cm) down the middle. Open the kickstand, slide on the sheet, and the effect is to lift the bottom of the Surface Pro just enough for the kickstand to act as a back support in profile position.

Because it is tin, it conveniently stiicks flat magnetically to the Type Cover for storage and transport. It is working quite well for my purposes, but I was curious if others had come up with better solutions?

Of course Microsoft should have designed the kickstand to accomodate profile position in the first place, but their design engineers have had eight chances to fix this and haven't...

Thanks for your reply, John. I've followed your suggestion re the Feedback Hub.

Of course I wasn't asking for applause, but rather for a Microsoft-built standard hardware solution for the next Surface Pro. There was already a similar suggestion for a profile orientation kickstand in the forum way back in 2015.  To do the 2015 suggestion wouldn’t take a team of designers really – just a pair of tin snips. Traditional picture frame makers, hundreds of years ago, figured out how to do a combo landscape and profile kickstand.

C’mon, Microsoft, the Surface Pro kickstand shape deserves an update!
