On the Surface Pro 9, with no headphone jack, can you plug in headphones or wired earbuds? How do you listen to music without using the speakers?

    With your query, yes, you can still use headphones or wired earbuds with the Surface Pro 9 by using a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter. This adapter can be purchased separately from Microsoft or from third-party retailers. To listen to music using headphones or earbuds, simply plug the adapter into the USB-C port on the Surface Pro 9 and then plug your headphones or earbuds into the adapter.

    Is there a specific adapter? I've purchased a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. When plugging the headphones into the adapter, then the adapter in my Surface Pro 9, no sound is transmitted to the headphones.

    Hi RodelioP,

    I've tried this on my new Surface Pro 9 with earphones & soundsystems through the USB-C to Jack connector. All I get is static, neither can I see a new option for sounds. Any ideas?
