2021-08-09T13:35:01+00:00 Ah, that would make sense. Dropping the ‘m’ I was just wondering what the difference was because there doesn’t seem to be a difference in spec.
Thankyou for your help👍😊

system info
in the search field and run the System Information App
this will give you the System SKU
If you run the Surface App (it is in the Store if not on your Surface already) it will show you the Surface Model.
They MAY have dropped the "M" because it isn't used in the internals of the Surface (UEFI/BIOS). It may just stand for (M)odel.

This one gives all of that information but it says 1866 instead of m1866

They used 1796 in the SKU strings for the Surface Pro 2017 (5th generation) and the Surface Pro 6. And confused customers by doing so.
