You cannot increase the RAM of a Surface. It is soldered.
This amount of RAM usage is normal with Edge and Spotify as they are based on Chromium, which uses as much RAM as it can.

I use my Surface Pro 9 every day, and I'm quite upset with the 8 GB of RAM. I have allocated VRAM from my SSD, but my laptop is still quite slow. The i5-1235u is quite good, the wifi is great, the GPU is fine for a laptop, and the disk is great, but the RAM is unbearably slow; it is always at 90-100% utilisation. It's not the tabs I have open on Edge or my Spotify, but the OS (Windows 11 Pro) uses almost all my RAM. Is there anything I can do to get more RAM or reduce OS usage?
